Everun fans rejoice. The docking station and car mount is nearly finished.
I’ve just received these images of the Raon Digital Everun docking station. They are renders of course so there’s obviously a few things missing (like the connector for example!) and the possibility that the end result could look slightly different but it looks like they are going for an ultra portable solution rather than a permanent desktop device.

Unfortunately I don’t have any images of the rear of the device but I have confirmed the specifications. I quote from an email:
- Fast battery charger
- VGA out
- Audio out
- Optical SPDIF
- CVBS [Composite video]
- SVHS [I think that should be S-Video] TV output
- 3 USB Hub
- 10/100 EtherNet
There’s a couple of spec’s there that make it very interesting. Optical SP/DIF is going to enable (I hope) AC3 pass-through for multi-channel soundtracks (or at the least, high quality 2-channel audio output) and the fast charger will help a lot with spare battery charging. Availability is said to be December. Oh I hope its not delayed because I’ve already put a verbal order in for one despite not knowing the price.
As for the car mount, here are the images of that.
I’m not sure if there’s some form of suction or multi-mount solution that pairs with it. Again, its due in December and no, I don’t have pricing yet!
