One correction, this article was from mid-June and from previous Dell leaks on Engadget should be pretty credible.

Travis,

Yes I know but why/how would a screenshot be made so as to having spellcheck working!? Usually things of this nature would be either a screenshot OR a scan, out of which neither would do spellcheck, this is my point! :)

Gabriel,

Det ser nog ut som om det vore lite trångt för Ä!

I would get this lappy if there were not for one thing: the keyboard. On a Swedish keyboard, we use the keys between 'P', 'L' and ENTER for alphabetical letters, making it very cumbersome should those keys be removed or relocated.

How/why would the text be underlined in this fashion if the info is from an online site? Maybe I am just missing something?

US$299? I disbelieve. The trend since the orginal eeePC came out has been seriously upward in price. Now most of these new models are in the US$500-800 range.

Granted, if anyone can afford a loss leader and/or establish a market price point, it's Dell.

Am looking forward to this because of Dell's generous return and warranty policies. Perfect time to play with a device like this with virtually no downside...

Timing is good for a big marketing push geared towards students returning to school in late August/early September.
