Eee PC fan alert! JKK got the 901.

JKK knows the Eee PC’s like the back of his hand so if you’re interested in the 901 at all, head on over to his site. He’s got one with him on holiday (!) and plans to start testing and reporting. His first words are:
Battery life is goood.. looks like easy 5 hours on my use.
Eee 901 has the best battery life compared to other netbooks
The question is, is it much better than the Eee PC 900 16G that’s going for $399 on Amazon.com?

It’s extremely quiet. Heat is not too bad at all, a little warm on the bottom with heavy use. It’s the entire opposite of my HP Mini-Note, which heats up rather a lot.
I mean killer as in a good way, like a killer app.

Here (http://techiteasy.org.ua/node/19) is my review of Eee PC 901 with some results of tests. It is in Russian, so I’ll translate some moments:

For example, my old laptop Acer Aspire 1640Z with Intel Celeron M 1.8 GHz passes CPUMark 2.2 in 44 sec.
