FYI - Gottabemobile linked to both laptopmag.com article and Tomshardware.com, refuting Tom's Hardware SSD power use testing with SSD better than HD.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ssd-hdd-battery,1955.html

vs

http://blog.laptopmag.com/web-surfing-test-shows-ssds-better-for-battery-life

So, who do we trust (or does it just depend on the type of use that we do if SSD is better or worse than HD (powerwise)?

Im quite looking forwards to reviews of this as ive been putting off buying other netbooks because of it...

$699 seems an ok price, as long as its below £400 ill definately consider it. But ill be waiting to see how the reviwers think it handles vista first.

i dont think the atom delays should really stop them from releasing it as its not like being unable to meet customer demand stopped the original eee from launching or for instance the ninteno wii.

well...i don't know, but maybe it has something to do with intel's problem to supply the demand for the atom?

Gigabyte and release dates... a really sad story!
Ok, it`s not only Gigabyte. But why aren`t they able to give more accurate release dates? Is it really this difficult?
