As I happened to be in my local mall I decided to look at what’s new in the electronics store. I was surprised to find the store had a whole dedicated netbook section and among them were the new Eee 904 models. These are basically the 1000h with the smaller 8.9 inch screen. The price here is 1200zl, which happens to be 100zl less than the windows version of the 901. I would still rather have the 901 though as the 904 has a not so good looking bezel around the screen and is definitely not as mobile. I don’t like the fact that subsequent Eee models seem to be getting bigger and bigger… Which one is your favorite at the moment? For me it’s the black 901. I have in fact started learning how to solder in anticipation of getting one in the future

I like my 1000H a lot more than I did my 702 8G.

so the asus 984BHC-Elite comes for 1200zl sometime in this century !

Mine is the white 901 so far.
I also prefer one without HD, but a fast SSD.
the only downpart of the 901 I find is the vertical screen resolution.
600pix is a bit too little for me. I find 800 ok to work with, but 1100& something x 768 will be more then enough on a 9″ screen.
I agree with the 904 having a too large bezel.
904 has the celeron processor like on the 701 series.
It is more like a larger 701,with 80GB HD.

I agree with you kornel – in future Asus eee will be 12.1 inch screen and … 15.4 notebook dimensions. For me best 7 inchscreen with 1024×600 – i have Samsung Q1 Ultra and i’m very happy
btw in other stores komputronik, sirius 904hd is cheaper – about 1100zł
