Kevin I say you get the BB Storm, which has maybe the second best camera besides Chippy N82. It does video pretty good and pictures are great. You can post right from the Storm if you wanted. This is just a way to convince you to get the Storm as you mention, that you need. LOL.

Still pushing the jailbroken Qik angle for the iphone. Still shots can be instantly uploaded by a number of apps as well. You can break the news first or in depth later, or both.

Yeah. We should follow this up with the bloggers if they don't post their thoughts (which I suspect they will.) Good idea.

Chippy,

I could not agree more. I like the pre-trip gear posts almost as much as the posts from the conference. I also love the post conference, "how my gear held up" post is great as well.

A good roundup of the CES kits. I'm actually the exception to the "smartphone being a two-device strategy". I took the same phone last year mainly because I need my phone. Same applies this year. The iPhone isn't coming with me to create content from CES... I simply need my phone to contact vendors, peers, etc. A feature phone would be fine for my CES trip, but I don't have one! :)
