Today was a bit mad I agree. But hey, someones got to test the limits for the real people out there! Actually, I learnt a lot in the last few days about 3G. The difference between city and country is important. The difference betweem inside and outdoors is also important. The biggest thing I learnt though is that you can not reliably juggle SIM cards, day flat rates and and contracts without getting burnt. The day flat from Vodafone left me without HTTPS (WT.!) the day flat from Fonid conked out after 4 hours due to a 'low' pre-pay balance (which equated to 3 extra days flat rate 3G) the roaming 3G from Vodafone works across multiple countries in the same day and goes unlimited if you go back in your home country. The T-Movile day flat I couldnt get working (it billed me a lot of money!) and the one card that really performed without problems, my Vodafone contract, went over it's limit! Actually there's a ton more to learn from todays excercise too. I'll try and get notes down ASAP. Steve OK. Today was a bit mad I agree.
