aaah ok I'm confused now. At some point I was under the impression that the OQO was an UMPC (I still think so btw :)) then Engadget used the term MID? Then it turns out the OQO press release DID indeed use the term MID about it's OQO.

However from your post I would read that the OQO is NOT a PC now? :) How much more Personal (Computer) can it get than being in your pocket WITH you!? :)

I broke the rule on Monday very quickly after I couldn't get the OQO working with 3G but now it's working, I'll see what I can do to keep it on the 3G.
I havent used a PC yet this week but that's easy with the OQO. I've got it hooked up to a monitor and it's working realy really well.

Sensible exceptions are OK of course!

No sense in demanding the impossible from mobile networks yet. The devices are up to it, but many will need to wait for LTE (4G) service to do away with wired broadband altogether. Just a few more years...

Oh dear. I just realised I have to do some multi-way skype podcasts next week. Might have to break the ban for that otherwise no-one gets a listenable podcast for MID Moves!!
