I use mine (old 02) mainly at home but I still use it more than my desktop (fortunately my wife refuses to use any PC apart from the desktop). Can't wait for the new OQO to be available. I believe that the power brick also houses charging circuits that are normally found inside a regular PC. That's why you can't use external batteries unless you can plug it into the OQO charger brick first. However, I get over 6 hours use out of my double capacity battery (wifi off).
