Even with the reduced power requirements of the ARM SoC, we all know the main source of power drain in an Atom-based netbook will be the screen and the 3G and/or WiFi radio. I think JKK made an important point that if he used his ARM-based netbook with the radio on, presumably accessing the net and watching videos, the battery life isn't particularly great either. My ARM-based phone could last several days on standby but if I use it continuously in "MID-mode", watching videos, checking emails and surfing the internet, it will die in a matter of hours.
