While the rest of the gang already has gazillion gadgets with them which are fit for mobile exploration, I am still waiting for my delivery. Not really sure what I will be getting and that is a rather unusual perspective for me. Usually I am the one organizing the stuff and distributing, something I am sure most of you will recognize from how to deal with your family and their gadgets.

All I know is that my gadgets will be the Compal/Aigo MID and the Clarion MiND which is a Car-focused MID.  I will compare these with my previous experiences with my current mobile setup, which consists of my “I don’t really want to carry it around because it is so heavy” Lenovo X41 Tablet, my XDA Orbit (which is O2 name for an HTC gadget) with installed TomTom on it as well as my unloved N95 from Nokia.

I am looking forward to unpacking them and trying them out, and I will be curious how I can live with those Linux based machines as all of my stuff is windows based and I rely very much on things like syncing etc. We will see about that.

Now please wish me luck that I receive my gadgets tomorow so that I can start playing around!
