Hi:
I wish there were more MIDs with Windows. I used linux for sometime but many medical programs which I need a MID/UMPC for are developed for windows only. OQO looks tempting but I wish there were more options out there. Some very rugged UMPCs are available but are very expensive. I really don't know why the companies went to the direction of mini notebooks/netbooks while there is a great use for a small device that fits in a coat pocket and runs windows smoothly.

Yeah I'm sure a lot of people feel like you do about it. I do prefer that myself too, but at times you have to do what you have to do kind of. :)

P.S. Replied to from my Aigo with XP and using Firefox and 3G GSM (AT&T)

Nope I did not. And to be honest if I have the choice between going for a gadget with an installed windows and to install one myself ... I really would go for the second option. But, nonetheless, thanks for the link!
