I used linux for sometime but many medical programs which I need a MID/UMPC for are developed for windows only. OQO looks tempting but I wish there were more options out there. Some very rugged UMPCs are available but are very expensive. I really don't know why the companies went to the direction of mini notebooks/netbooks while there is a great use for a small device that fits in a coat pocket and runs windows smoothly.
