While design is not my first thing, i think HP chose a nice design path. Lots of people actually like the design and don't feel it's boring black or white. Design on these netbooks i think is very important, because people will want to carry these mobile devices around and show off! a nice one will attract more people than the basic black or white eee...(with all respect of course) i have a HP TX2000 tablet with basically the same design (black cover and the circles).
