Following the week-long visit to the South by South-West Interactive conference, I’ve written up an article that has been published over at the Intel Software Networks Blog. It talks about the devices we took and, more interestingly I think, some of the feedback and interaction we had with the advanced Web users that we met.

If you’re talking about n810’s formfactor, I kinda have to agree. Since the n810, there’s been a lack of small capable mids. Sure there’s the aigo if you can wrangle one, and the pricey oqo/sony ux, but nothing in the class of the n810.
The samsung mondi looks similar, but the cpu isn’t the jump in power it should be – and that’s still not yet for sale. Even pandora isn’t out yet.
I’m hoping the next nokia mid this year isn’t larger than the n810, maintains the high res screen, and isn’t necessarily tied to a phone. I use my mid like pmp most of the time – so having it act as a phone and thus running my phone’s battery down isn’t an option.
