UMID review should come next week. Looks like we'll get overnight hands-on at SXSW. Keep an eye on MIDMoves.com because i'll be working with the Intel people next week on another MIDmoves event.

cargo pants/coat pocket would work though and its not too big to wear on a belt. Vista would be a dealbreaker for me if the specks are 1300mhz. That seems marginal vista to me. The umpc portal spec website says xp home though (which means another set of problems--limited tablet apabilities built in?). But maybe a little better. I'm a little pessimistic in regards to the long term durability of that mouse button too as the (similar) button on my htc advantage just went out. (I know apples and oranges.) Still. All in all not too exciting. But we should wait for price and review from out UMPPortal friends before making up our minds I think. How will it compare to the upcoming oqo2? We're looking forward to another hands on review Chippy. :) . . . Rack 'em up. Deal the cards.

while its nice to see them going with the 4.8" screen size, it doesnt make much sense if the device isnt going to be very pocketable. while it stuck out of his back pocket by an inch or so, try sitting down on that thing. it might not work in the front pocket either because of the curvature. nobody is going to want to take it out of their pocket everytime they sit down.

the specs are also very underwhleming compared to its also KB-less rival Viliv S5.
