OK, sorry to have been that arrogant.

I was just angry at the moment to read (again!) some suggestions that an ARM chip could power XP while they are *not* x86-compatible.

Keep up the good work, Ben!

Yes it was mostly a joke, I know XP could run on 800MHz depending upon the particular CPU, people who aren't yet used to the concept of netbooks would laugh at the clock speed and definitely not want a computer with that clock speed.

Furthermore, XP is running really fine on EeePC 701 with the Celeron M clocked at 630MHz... The same goes for the Aigo MID with an Atom clocked at 800Mz... And of course, everybody ran XP on even weaker CPU's years ago.

XP is a pretty light operating system, from today's point of view.

Ben, are you joking when you are saying that 800MHz may not be enough to power XP?

First, this is an ARM chip that won't be able to run XP at all, anyway.

Second, different CPU can't be evaluated solely on their clock... For instance the Celeron M 900MHz (found on original EeePC's) is on average as much powerful as the Atom N270 1,6GHz.

Because it uses an 8" screen plus an 2.5" HDD and provides 2 mini-PCIe slots?

And finally, maybe because Sony is better at the game of making light design...

Look a little closer gang, I did not see any directional keys on the keyboard.

This is a big no no IMO. I don't know what android interface is like but I would assume some form of direction keys is necessary.
