Is there any possible way to convert a the x70 and or the s5 to running voice services using the the sim? I have heard quite a few people that they would want an integrated phone UMPC combo.

I see it shares the S5 design, with the 3G card and the SSD sharing the space that would otherwise be occupied by a HDD.

This means that (just like the S5) if you purchase this without the 3G card, adding one after the fact will require use of a soldering iron to add the pci-e recepticle.

Bad news for people in the US on Verizon who need an EVDO card, and don't want to shell out extra to get a useless 3G card.

In the second picture, the sim card holder is the lonely green square on the top of the device. The wifi card is built into the motherboard I believe.
