Palm Pre WebOS running on the Aigo P8860 MID (sort of…)

aigo mid palm pre os Below you’ll see a video of WebOS running on the Aigo P8860 MID [Portal page]. One little caveat, its an emulator. Still, everything looks to be running fine, and WebOS is certainly better oriented for a touch based computing experience, so maybe it even has some viability for usage?

It seems that the emulator was given out to developers, though you may be able to find it yourself if you search hard enough.

Hopefully more devices will support WebOS, as it’s much better software than the Pre is hardware.

I’ve had my Pre since shortly after launch and am glad to find (by way of this forum) that I can now set a ring tone on incoming text messages and can look for by way of e-mails and such. Now is there any hope for an upcoming release in which I can look for my calendar? Would make my occupation significantly less difficult, acquiring dates of final appointments. No other complaints, except that yesterday I had been in and out of Sprint assistance (not unusual). I feel I used to be roaming, and looked at my calendar. Anything in the calendar was one particular hour earlier than what I had input. The clock was a single hour early as properly. I used to be afraid to death–then, the moment we got back into Sprint service again, every thing was normalized. Has this happened to any person else?? Seeking forward to answers, but please bear in mind, I’m no techie and speak English instead of technospeak.
