IDF09. Mobile-Computing must-see sessions

Posted on 13 September 2009 by

midmovesidfIf you’re going to IDF next week you need to be thinking about the keynotes and sessions you’re going to be attending. If you’re watching for news from IDF, you’ll also need to get an idea of when things are happening.

I’ve had a close look at the list of sessions and keynotes that are listed on the Intel IDF information website and shortlisted a set that covers all the important mobile computing topics. Follow the 4 M’s. That’s Menlow, Moorestown, Moblin and MIDs!

Keynotes

More information on keynotes can be found here.

  • Building a Continuum of Computing – Paul Otellini, September 22, 2009 9:10 am – 10:00 am
  • Mobile Computing: The Definition of Cool – David Perlmutter. September 23, 2009 9:10 am – 10:00 am
  • Developing for the Continuum of Intel Platforms – Reneee James. September 23, 2009 10:00 am – 10:50 am
  • Note: There’s no Keynote from Anand Chandrasekher, senior vice president and general manager of the ultra mobility group this year.

Sessions

From the Content Catalogue at the Intel IDF website.

In addition to these sessions, the Showcase will be open. Partners and groups within Intel show their stuff!

Outside events

Maroon 5, IDF Nightcap on Tuesday, September 22. (evening) Less of the MIDS, more of the Moves!

One more thing for the diary

If you’re in San Fransisco on Monday the 21st, thats day zero of the IDF event, keep an ear open for a MobilityMeetup event. I’ll be joining Intel Insiders, MID experts, makers and sellers, top tech bloggers in the Bay Area, and a lot of mobile tech for an HP-sponsored happy-hour event. Follow to @idf and @midmoves on Twitter to get the latest on this.

Finally, if you’re going to be at IDF, let me know!
