Good 1st. look Chippy, the price point is not too bad also. I’m not too much of a fan of Viliv. They make really nice product however from past experiences whats under the “hood” was always underpowered for me.However this look really good. I just hope you can upgrade the Ram to 2 gigs. 1 Gig or a win7 system is a no no for me but all in all I am interested with the effort from Viliv, lets hope the final product is worth it.

if the Asus Seashell line had a baby with a convertible, this is how it would look.

i think the high price has alot to do with the superb engineering that went into this device. to be a convertible, yet still be thin, light, smooth bottom, user upgradable, is quite impressive. i wonder if that battery is polymer?

Thanks, Chippy. I really like the looks of this sleek convertible tablet. Would like to be able to upgrade the RAM to 2GB. Is this possible? Maybe the Viliv tech people will be able to tweak the resistive screen responsiveness. What is the estimated battery life spec’d on the S10 Blade? I think Viliv will have a “winner device,” here, and I would much prefer this, than the 32GB WiFi iPad ($599). I am really liking this one!

Chippy, you say screen is 1024×600 but Viliv specs it at 1366×768. I assume latter is correct?

I was a bit disappointed by the responsiveness of the browser. My shop-test today with the Samsung N450 suggest, that Windows 7 is just a bit too much for an atom+1GB-Configuration (though obviously it wasn’t a very representative test). The N280 doesn’t provide too much more power than the N450 in the Samsung.

By the way, is there a way to register for “followup comments” without posting a comment? It’s sort of a pain having to wait until I see fit to comment before I can subscribe to the comments, being stuck with reloading the page again and again.

so still, like what was mentioned by someone previously, there’s no way to upgrade the ram!? there’s not even access to it at all
what makes them think that users would be able to stand such limited physical memory?
that’ll ridiculous if it really is not upgradeable.
