Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 (phew!) Hands-On

Posted on 06 March 2012, Last updated on 06 March 2012 by

We’ve just had hands-on with the Acer M3 (as I’m going to call it from now on.)

Launching soon, it’s a 15” workhorse of an Ultrabook for an interesting price. €799 starting point. Build quality seems reasonable and at 2KG it’s quite light for the size and features. A 1366×768 screen is a disappointment, a removable battery is an advantage.

  1. PolkSDA says:

How can one use 15″ and Ultrabook in the same sentence? If so, then the entire concept of “ultrabook” is flawed and meaningless… it’s just another lightweight fullsized laptop. What’s next, gamer-friendly 17″ Ultrabooks at only 6 pounds?

Ugh. Methinks the ultrabook concept is already far too diluted right out of the gate…
