You can save $100 on the Sonytouchscreen Ultrabook, bringing the starting price to $699. The company recently reduced the entry-level price for the T13 touch to match that of the non-touchscreen T13. The T13 is one of three T-series Ultrabooks from Sony that can be equipped with a touchscreen.
The entry-level T13 with touchscreen can now be bought for $699, $100 off the original price. Sony is selling for this price directly, but you can also buy it from Amazon and get free fast shipping if you’re an Amazon Prime member.
Here are the specs for the $699 T13 (SVT13134CXS) touchscreen Ultrabook:
- Windows 8
- Intel Core i3-3227U
- Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics
- 13.3-inch 1366×768 touchscreen display
- 4GB of RAM (1600MHz)

For those who prefer a larger display, Sony also makes a 14-inch and 15-inch T-series Ultrabook, both of which can be equipped with touchscreens, starting at $799 and $949 respectively (the latter coming standard with a full 1080p display).
We had our hands on the non-touchscreen version of the Vaio T13 Ultrabook running Windows 7 last October and were pleased with it on a number of levels — it has a great design that doesn’t try to mimic an Apple laptop. We didn’t like the amount of bloatware that came pre-installed; hopefully that issue has been addressed for the Windows 8 version, but we won’t hold our breath.
