Indian manufacturer iBall have introduced this very low priced ($110) Windows 8.1 tablet (1GB RAM, 16GB flash with SD card expansion slot) and as such is a good buy considering the quad core Atom CPU. iBall's director, Sandeep Parasrampuria, is claiming it the world's cheapest Windows tablet and they seem to have a tied up well with Microsoft and Intel.
Acer W3-810, 8.0 inch, 500 grams (1.1 lbs)
Rumors started in April about this 8-inch Windows tablet but now it's official. The Acer W3-810 is listed with 2GB RAM, 64GB storage in silver for £469 which, after removing tax, is the equivalent of about the same in dollars. It's the first sub-10-inch Windows 8 tablet.
