I have the same problem as well does others. One post reported that if you reinstall you video driver it will work. I did that and it work for a while and then stopped. Not sure what to do at this point other then to wait for an video driver upgrade.

Did yours work out of the box? Mine did. I reinstalled the video drive with negative results.

Microsoft said earlier it is a bug with changing the resolution while the screen is rotated. Currently there is no fix for it I believe other than reinstaling the driver.
hopefully there is a better fix soon. |

1 have no idea how the rotate can epruptly stop working. But as per some suggest, I reinstalled the video drivers and the great feature is restored. it brigs we to restart, but l click later and go back to work.
My rotate worked fine out of box though. l don't brow why some reported it never worked. However," Rotate" only works at native screen res 800x480. Also, l've been trying to go through the Tip tutorials from the Start menu and some available online. (Newbie) The bottom portion of the demo screen always get cropped off leading me to think l have to use my own "StartMenu". After much playing around, er, training I finally discovered that, our screens can actually support 1024 X 768 just like it would with 800 X 600. (Not documented.) With the slightly stretch. - distortion and added pixels, I discover the missing portion of the screen (window) of the demo. Training was great. No, the training program does not pause and hangs. It's good feeling to see things can work like it suppose to. Well, with case here at least... |
