Im looking forward to seeing the CPU benchmarks.

Have you heard of Super PI?
http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=36

I would be interested to see some results from it.

Any chance you'll be getting a demo of the samsung Q1 for review? This is the model I'll probably be going with for the VGA out and rj45 built on. Im interested in seeing how the joystick works.

Thanks,
Pete

Im not sure if this has been touched on or not yet, but i would really like to know if the RAM can be upgraded after purchase. ie. Open the EO (or whatever umpc you have), take out the 512mb and throw in standard laptop ram.

This doesnt really have to wait for your review, does anyone know the answer?

Thanks,

Jer

I dont plan on opening it up but the fcc was kind enough to supply us with pictures and yes the ram and HDD can be upgraded. It uses standard ddr2 sodimms only one socket for ram and accepts up to 1gb.

It is possible to upgrade, but it voids the warranty if it is opened up.
So don't break it after you do it.

Good point, that totally slipped my mind.

Just utilizing the video playback, whether with an .avi or over a network drive, would suffice.
