Unfortunately I only got a short film section of the HTC Shift running at 1024×600 at the launch last week and it doesn’t really do it justice. In reality, its better than you can see in the screenshot. I would need to get it side by side with another 7" screen for a full comparison but what I saw was pretty good. My feeling is that its pretty good. Never as good as a native 1024×600 screen but I think it might be usable.
