101_0676 Here’s a quick look at the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 3GS facing off head to head. I didn’t cover too much stuff in this video, so if there are more comparisons that you’d like to see, speak up in the comments, and do it soon; the iPhone 3GS is going away (far away) very soon.

Thanks Ben, can see no reason to upgrade to 4 if you already have a 3GS, yesterday people are lining up to do so…………

This has actually been really helpful for me as i was sure there was a speed problem with my iPhone 4, but this proves to be accurate. I did my own speed test similar to this with my old 3GS. Some sites load a bit quicker but not loads better, and some of the navigation on the phone (like opening and closing folders) seems to stutter compared to the 3GS. Some stuff is even a tad slower – like opening an App info page in the App store and immediately scrolling down – the 3GS stutters a bit but the 4 stutters more when loading the images.

Thanks for this – i can rest easy knowing my phone is fine. Word of advice for all on fence upgraders – it might not be much faster but the screen is awesome!
