Chippy Checks-in From MWC; the Return of Jkk? [audiocast]

Posted on 29 February 2012, Last updated on 21 September 2019 by

As you know, Chippy is in Barcelona this week and has been bringing us fresh news right from the heart of Mobile World Congress. He took a brief respite from the show to bring us a quick audiocast update with a special guest… jkk mobile! If you’ve followed our pal jkk, you’ll know he’s been somewhat absent from the blogging scene lately. However, given his presence at MWC and his site now showing signs of activity, perhaps 2012 will denote the return of the jkk!

Chippy and jkk pose an interesting question — which will be better: Windows on ARM, or Android on Intel? What do you think?

Holy crap. I haven’t heard your guys voice for so long I thought you guys had a fight and broke up or something.

W8 is going to bring UMPC back heh.

  2. Chippy says:

It has certainly been a while. No falling-out at all, just logistical issues and different priorities!

  3. Mike Cane says:

Win8 will probably be much more popular than Android on tablets. I think more devs will go to Win8 tablets than have gone to Android.

And if Nokia makes a Win8 tablet as seXXor as the N9 hardware — especially in that Cyan — I’ll be there.

Good to hear both of you together again too.
