Acer Aspire Switch 10 vs ASUS Transformer Book T100

Posted on 28 May 2014 by

These two 10-inch 2-in-1 Windows 8 tablet / keyboard PCs are close in every respect. So close that it may only be price and availability that differentiates them for the average user. Core specifications are very close but there are a few important details to note.

Firstly the Acer Aspire Switch 10 does not have a USB3.0 port where the T100 has. This could make a difference for people wanting to use a USB3.0 docking station or USB3.0 SSD. Secondly, it’s clear that the Switch 10 has a brighter screen and is bonded closer to the glass resulting in a better experience.

Importantly the Switch 10 has a significantly smaller battery resulting in shorter battery life. Despite that the two devices are the same weight and size (give or take a few mm and grams.)

Really? This doesn’t tell us anything. Speakers and sound maybe? What was the actual battery life? How was video playback and what was the content? Seriously this isn’t a review. Lol

In this grand pattern of things you actually secure a B+ just for effort and hard work. Where exactly you actually misplaced me personally was on your details. As they say, the devil is in the details… And it could not be much more true here. Having said that, allow me reveal to you exactly what did give good results. The article (parts of it) is certainly extremely persuasive and this is possibly the reason why I am making an effort to comment. I do not really make it a regular habit of doing that. Next, despite the fact that I can certainly see the leaps in reason you come up with, I am definitely not confident of exactly how you seem to connect the details which produce the final result. For the moment I will subscribe to your point but wish in the foreseeable future you actually link the dots better.

My spouse and I absolutely love your blog and find the majority of your post’s to be exactly what I’m looking for. can you offer guest writers to write content for yourself? I wouldn’t mind writing a post or elaborating on some of the subjects you write about here. Again, awesome blog!
