More impressions of the Viliv X70 UMPC

viliv_x70 We pointed you to James Kendrick’s video overview of the upcoming Viliv X70 UMPC, but now he has a great gallery, including shots of the impressive looking case, and some additional impressions of the unit over at jkOnTheRun.

The more I see this device, the more solid and awesome it looks. If only they could squeeze a keyboard on there somehow…. Seems like it would work great for around the house browsing, and James says he loves it already as an e-book reader.

Nooo… Dont add a keyboard!!! The reason I like this device is it is skinny and dosen’t have a keyboard. If you want a convertable netbook tablet there are other devices out there for you. but most of my mobile needs are consuming data/media a little data input, for the times I need to input data I have a BT keyboard or i could even use a full USB keyboard.

but when is Villiv going to spill the goods on their 5″ keybaord model?

I totally agree with Chad! If you really want a keyboard get a Bluetooth keyboard or a netbook!
This one looks pretty cool as it is!!!
