It’s 0600 in Vegas as I write this and the press are stirring. In just a few hours the first of the press-day conferences will be starting when LG kick off at 0800. After LG, it’s non-stop until after the Steve Balmer (MIcrosoft) keynote at 1900. In-between you’ll find Toshiba, Sharp, Cisco, Samsung, Panasonic and Sony doing press events and a ton of PR activity through the normal press channels. There’s also a CntrStage (bloggers) party with live streaming at 1600 local time which should be fun to watch.
JKK and I will be live on video for most of it and continuing our commentary, q&a and mini-podcasts as important news comes out. Join us at /live (either UMPCPortal.com or JKKMobile.com) where there’s already a chat session open for discussions. We’ll be dropping links in as we find them and, as was the case yesterday, hoping you’ll be able to help us too. It’s impossible to keep an eye on everything so if you spot something you think we should look at, please highlight it.
We’ll also be staying in close contact with bloggers like Sascha, Jenn and Brad and tracking the other mobile-tech bloggers as they report. All in all, today is likely to be the longest day of CES. I’m ready!
