The Pepperpad is working out well and now that I have SoftSqueeze running on it, you’ll often find it snuggled up to my amp playing the LastFM Chilosophy group stream.

What ever happened to running some native office apps? You seem to be the only actual reviewer of this product on the planet. I was kind of waiting for you to say something on the subject.
Hi Anon.
Actually there are no native office apps on the Pepperpad 3. It uses a java-based ‘pepper keeper’ app which includes browser, email, photos, music etc.
Did you read the mini-review I did?

I’ll be putting a full review out of the pad in a week or two but as I’ve been playing a lot with it this week I thought i’d post what i’ve been doing.
Back to the office apps though, there should be no problem to get OpenOffice on it. It hasn’t worked for me yet becuase i’m waiting for it to be available through the offical Pepperpad software repository. Others seem to have downloaded it and intalled it though.
Regards
Steve.
