Netbooks are taking over! I’m having trouble getting through to any news on Silverthorne and whether it’s shipping. My fear is that production capacity has been switched to help Diamondville. No news on MIDs spotted yet either.

Reg Hardware on Diamondville launch.

CNet – Atom for netbooks.

TGDaily – Intel intros Diamondvile

in facts, Intel know as current z500 series will not have very big market as it is still not suit for handset yet, so main market for Intel atom is for cheaper NB.

Intel got us excited about MIDs and silverthorne, now all of a sudden its netbooks.
I think Intel is having split personality, or may be is just a marketing strategy.
