The podcast video we did live on Friday evening has been available on Ustream for a few days now but the MP3 has just been posted and is available in the normal feed. We had another fun time talking about netbooks, UMPCs and MIDs and managed to chalk-up 90 minutes of info and thought including talk about on the Netbook World Summit, the Snapdragon netbook concept, the HP Mini 1000, optimum speeds for SSD’s, the Amtek T10L and the Lluon Mobbit MID.

Greetings Steve, JKK, and Sasha(bad Spelling)

I think it would be excellent if a MID can dual boot Linux and Windows XP.
Also looks like Lluon Mobbit MID has started a thread to begin marketing MID’s at low prices.
In the US if a MID would sell for $350.00US that would be the sweet spot price.

    awesome podcast.

For SSDs, it was pretty informative to hear that its not beneficial to buy the super high-end stuff. Would you say that once you get the discussed read/write speeds (60/40 mbps?) then its a matter of how much capacity you are getting for your dollar or do you look for something else too?

Cant wait for the pre-CES podcast !!

    TechCrunch sucks!
