Watching CES for MIDs

Posted on 06 January 2009, Last updated on 11 November 2019 by

We still don’t have the list of devices from Intel yet and CES is just about to start so I’m watching carefuly and keeping my fingers crossed that there will be some shiny new devices that Intel can send out way for the tour. I’ve had tip-offs and read news that there’s a new OQO on the cards, a new Samsung ultra mobile PC and a new Sony ultra mobile PC so along with the devices that Intel has already shown in a CES warm-up video , there’s a great range of possibilities.

I’ll be covering ultra mobile and MID news coming out of CES over the next week and teaming up with JKKMobile.com to do some live podcasts so stay tuned here and on UMPCPortal.com for the latest. Jenn is actually out in Vegas right now and will be using twitter to send brief updates for her day job at Pocketables. You’ll see those (and my updates) on the fron page of MIDMoves. You can follow general CES blogs, videos, images and ‘tweets’ at this Intel website.
