This is a demo video and demo blog.

Video recorded, produced, uploaded from the Nokia N8. Embed code grabbed by ‘share’ing the embed code from the YouTube app. to the WordPress app on the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Photo sent from N8 to Tab via Bluetooth and then embedded in the post. It’s a simple, quick process.

Total tIme to record, edit, upload and write post is under 10 minutes [correction. Its was closer to 15 minutes] which is fast for a single-man setup of 570gms and about €650. All-day battery life too! Let me know what you think about the quality of the video. Is it good enough for a first hands-on demo?

On my Atrix I found it very acceptable, on the desktop it was a little washed out and stabilization was at times very noticeable (even without the almost drop).
All things considered, it will be the content that most people will be interested in.
Sound was loud and static free, so in my book it was just fine.

Video quality is excellent excerpt it’s little bit shaky. Would be cool if you could use Steadicam Smoothee but it’s too heavy for your needs (but you could use it for prearranged interviews and such). Two thumbs up!!

Looks great Chippy. One quirk: the embedded video doesn’t allow me to go fullscreen. I noticed the same with the test video on UMPC Portal. I believe the videos you post usually show the fullscreen option (I generally watch them fullscreen). I definitely prefer being able to watch in fullscreen; do you think there’s a setting that could be tweaked that might go back to the older style?

A side note–when I click on any of the monthly archives (Aug, Jul, Jun 2011 etc) on UMPC Portal it simply takes me to the home page; no older monthly archives seem available. Only the links to the last 50 or so stories (listed above the monthly archives) seem to work.
