picture_4_s The Mozilla Maemo developer weekend starts tomorrow and will be focusing on the very things we love here at UMPCPortal. Efficient, mobile, internet-connected applications. From the wiki:

You can follow the action on Twitter by using this URL. http://search.twitter.com/search?q=mozmae or tracking #mozmae in your twitter client.

Apart from being interested in general news about Maemo 5 and the browser, I’m watching closely for output from the Mer team as I’d like to see what they’re doing with the Smart Devices Q5 and Q7 and of course, I’m interested to hear about Mauku, my favorite Maemo app and wondering if Maemo 5 would consider a port to this OMAP 3-based netbook/umpc that i’m going to write about in my next article.

Good luck to all of you heading to the University of Copenhagen this weekend. Don’t party too hard at the event this evening!
