Asus Eee PC 1008HA alternatives
Kupa X11, 10.1 inch, 1019 grams (2.25 lbs)
The Kupa X11 comes with a multitouch screen and an active digitizer which is pressure sensitive. It is built on Intel's Oak Trail platform sporting a 1.5GHz Processor and packs 2GB of RAM. Battery life is promised to be about 10hrs.

Indamixx 2 Beta M1touch, 10.1 inch, 1179 grams (2.6 lbs)
Hanvon Touchpad B10, 10.1 inch, 960 grams (2.12 lbs)
Acer Iconia Tab W500, 10.1 inch, 970 grams (2.14 lbs)
In total, the tablet and dock solution weighs over 1.5kg which, for a solution with a 36Whr battery (and 3-4hrs usage) isn't much but as a hot-desking / round-the-house solution, the Acer Iconia Tab could perform well.
Onkyo TW317A5, 10.1 inch, 1000 grams (2.2 lbs)
Surprisingly solid and thin device for a Windows device.
Netbook Navigator Nav 9, 9.0 inch, 900 grams (1.98 lbs)
With multitouch, a tablet-enable build of Windows 7 (premium,) 2GB RAM, a 900gm weight and good entry level price, the Nav 9 helps to bring true, productive tablet PCs to the masses. Our only concern is the very small battery which we estimate to be worth up to a maximum of only 2.5 hours. An extended battery (about 150% capacity) will bring the capacity up to around 4 hours and at %50, is recommended because it's a custom install. Included carrying case and car charger rounds off a nice package. Note: 3G retro-fit should be possible with a PCI-Express mini module. (Unconfirmed) Question remains about removable battery. (We suspect not.)
Options exist for 32, 64 and 128GB SSD.
EviGroup Pad, 10.0 inch, 990 grams (2.18 lbs)
Based on the Intel netbook platform (2008) and with a 2.5" drive this should perform quite well for web and online Flash video playback. Would form a good basis for a modular mobile PC system although we don't see any dock option or, at this stage, information on battery life.
