Let this be a lesson to all of us. The Fujitsu Q702 I am testing right now has a 1.8Ghz Core i5 CPU with Turbo Boost Technology that can take it to 2.6Ghz. The whole thing is packed inside a tablet PC. Impressive. The problem is that this 1.8Ghz platform down-clocks itself from 1.8Ghz to an average 1.3Ghz when under load. Fujitsu don’t appear to be telling their customers either.
Fancy 70WH of battery in your Ultrabook? For those that don’t know how significant this is, it’s the best battery capacity we’ve seen so far in the 11.6” segment and it beats nearly all other Ultrabooks. Only the Fujisu U772 has more, but not by much. The Fujitsu Stylistic Q702 doesn’t stop there. I’ve unboxed and I’m impressed at the specs, ports and capability. There’s another first here too. Matt capacative touchscreen with digitizer!
Fujitsu is launching a transformer-style hybrid Ultrabook, the Stylistic Q702. The company has experience making tablets and it shows — the Q702 is probably the most well rounded hybrid we’ve seen launched thus far with a very good port set for the size, capacitive and active digitizer screen, and even a built-in stylus.
